  3. 2024 North Texas Giving Day - Matching Gifts
  • 2024 North Texas Giving Day - Matching Gifts logo
Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas has a long history of providing quality legal services that help change lives and open opportunities for low-income Texans. With offices in both urban and rural locations, Legal Aid provides civil legal help and advocacy to eligible individuals and families who would not otherwise have meaningful access to a lawyer.
Legal Aid’s most critical need is for attorneys to address the legal challenges of those impacted by the pandemic and significant weather disasters. We continue to see an increase in requests for help with family violence, improper evictions, and earned benefit denials. And while we provide advice and counsel to those eligible for help, we do not have enough lawyers to represent every deserving client. But you can help!
Whether you have given in the past or feel moved to do so this year, we wanted to let you know about a meaningful way to give: the matching gift fund, which leverages donations through a dollar-for-dollar match. For example, a $50 gift will be amplified to $100 under the matching fund.
This year, NTGD is September 19. If you wish to participate in our matching fund, please do so no later than September 18. If you've given in the past, we thank you for your participation in this annual event. Your support of our matching gift fund will help encourage others to rise to the challenge on September 19.
We invite you to join in and help Legal Aid reach $3,000 or more of its 2024 goal of $20,000. With your help, we can do it! Please click the “Donate” button to make your matching fund gift today. Or you can email us at events@lanwt.org to make a pledge, payable by September 18.
For more information, visit NorthTexasGivingDay.org or contact Sam Prince at 817-449-5334 or PrinceS@lanwt.org.
