  • For 26 years, Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas (Legal Aid) has publicly recognized exceptional advocacy on behalf of women and children in need at its annual Women’s Advocacy Awards (WAA). 


    Included in this year's WAA event, Legal Aid is celebrating 75 years of advancing justice in North and West Texas. The legal services our lawyers provide—often to victims of domestic violence and their children—saves lives.


    Legal Aid will celebrate its WAA honorees for their exceptional service to women and children at our annual reception from 6 to 8 p.m., June 17, 2026, at the Arts District Mansion, 2101 Ross Avenue, Dallas. 


    Our 2026 honoree categories are:

    75th Anniversary Pillar of Justice Award
