Celebrating 75 Years of Advancing Justice

In 2026, Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas is celebrating 75 years of advancing justice throughout North and West Texas.

Since 1951, Legal Aid has helped low-income individuals and families address civil legal problems affecting their safety, housing, family well-being, finances, and stability. As the provider of free civil legal aid in Collin County, our McKinney office received requests for assistance from approximately 2,000 individuals and families last year.

Clients sought help with urgent legal matters such as wrongful evictions and foreclosures, child custody disputes, domestic violence, abuse and neglect, veterans’ benefits, and other issues that could threaten their safety and well-being.

    Justice in Action

When a North Texas judge urgently needed an atoorney to help a young woman facing a custody hearing, Legal Aid responded within an hour. Throught the combined efforts of attorneys and support staff, the survivor received the representation and protection she needed.

    Your Support Makes Justice Possible

Many people facing a legal crisis cannot afford to hire a private attorney. Your ticket purchase, sponsorship, or donation helps ensure that disadvantaged Collin County residents have access to the legal guidance and representation they need.

By supporting the Builders of Justice Awards Progressive Dinner, you are helping Legal Aid protect families, preserve housing, promote safety, and provide hope to people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

    Tickets and Sponsorships

    Tickets are $150 per person.
Guests must be age 21 or older.

Sponsorship opportunities are available at levels ranging from $250 to $15,000, including special Food and Dessert Sponsorships.

The sponsorship pledge and/or payment deadline is Monday, September 28, 2026, for inclusion in printed event materials and other recognition benefits.
