2025 Women's Advocacy Awards Campaign

For 25 years, Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas (Legal Aid) has publicly recognized exceptional advocacy on behalf of women and children in need at its annual Women’s Advocacy Awards. The legal services our lawyers provide—often to victims of domestic violence and their children—saves lives. 

Legal Aid will celebrate its 2025 honorees for their exceptional service to women and children at our annual reception from 6 to 8 p.m., June 25, 2025, at the Arts District Mansion, 2101 Ross Avenue, Dallas. 

The annual event, which includes a silent auction and door prize drawings, relies on the solicitation of sponsors at various dollar amounts to help make it a success. 

Now more than ever, organizations like Legal Aid depend on the support of donors to help serve the civil legal needs of those most at risk in our communities. For the last 70+ years, Legal Aid has provided free legal aid to more than 1 million low-income and families seeking safety, security, and lives free from domestic violence and abuse. As a condition of the funding it receives from LSC, Legal Aid is restricted in certain activities in all of its legal work—including work supported by other funding sources. Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas, Inc. may not expend any funds for any activity prohibited by the regulations governing the Legal Services Corporation. Legal Aid is required by 45 CFR Part 1610 to provide notice of these restrictions to all funders and contributors to organizations funded by the Legal Service Corporation.
